Cochrane Nursing Care Field (CNCF) ‘Cochrane Corners’ are an explanation and interpretation of an original Cochrane Review written by nurses for nurses to highlight the relevance for nursing practice. The draft must contain a reasonable amount of relevant content and demonstrate genuine progress in the assessment. There will be no written feedback provided on the draft but there will be dedicated time to discuss your draft with tutors during tutorials.

5. Interventions/ Methods Summarise in your own words what the main interventions were, and the methods reported in the review. It must not be a direct cut and paste. (Approximately 100 Words).

8. Implications for practice In your opinion, what are the implications of the review findings are for nursing practice. This section requires independent, critical thought (Approximately 150 Words).
9. References Use APA referencing to reference the Cochrane review and any other references you might use. Most sections of this assessment do not require external references however, appropriate references in the ‘Background’ and ‘Implications for Practice’ sections may improve your marks. Because this assessment involves one main source of information (the Cochrane Review), we expect the similarity will be higher than in other assessments – however, if your similarity report is over 65% please revise before you submit. Using your own words to interpret information shows us how well you understand the content.
