Informative speech

I’m working on a Writing exercise and need support.

Write an introduction for an informative speech. Three things should be included: 1) an attention-getter, 2) the thesis, and 3) a preview of the main points of the speech. You will deliver this introduction to the class as though you were going to deliver the entire speech. However, you will only deliver the introduction. You may not read your introduction. You must deliver the introduction by standing and speaking to the class. You may use note cards that have a few items, but not the entire introduction.
