The results from the Human Metric personality assessment show that I tend to possess a slightly introverted personality over extroversion. This kind of character skeptically concerns leaders in that; good leaders are made of good listeners, and apparently a considerable number of introverts naturally possess good listening skills. I have learned that making a unpopular decision for the corporate benefit is not bad for a leader.

Professionally, that will be my strength, notwithstanding the difficulty that comes alongside that I can cope with and nurture with time to perfection. Also, the results have shown that I am a good thinker and does not necessarily rely on emotions. As such, under the outcome, I am thought to be judging situations as opposed to perceiving them. The qualities, therefore, define me as a good leader since managers should be to make impeccable judgments for their errands to be on the go. Also, being that great managers are intuitive and do not depend on logic as much, I feel fit for any managerial position, particularly in the health care sector.

Opportunity Analysis

As a health care administrator, I would make sure that quality health care and its necessities are available to the public rightfully. Some of the qualities of a good health care manager in different managerial positions that I consider having include: physician practice manager, administrator manager in a nursing home, chief executive officer in a hospital, or a clinical nurse manager in a hospital (Rahim, & Finch, 2011).

Some of the strategic issues to address would be planning, organizing, controlling, staffing, and advancing competency through stressing on interpersonal skills as well as decision making (Al-Dlaigan et al., 2017). Also, I wouldn’t mind serving in junior positions as long as duties are well executed and objective achieved. I would also address my weaknesses in areas that would require technical skills for me to OK make an all-round administrator.

Working as a clinical nurse manager, I would make sure that patients are well attended to and services offered with utmost keenness. Also, respect for clients should be assured to have them feel confident and not vulnerable. Confidence from patients in their physicians creates a conducive environment for work, which in turn breeds positive results ultimately (Geyer, 2014). As an administrator, it is essential for ascertaining equity among junior staff to create a healthy environment for work.

Plan for Professional Development

Looking forward, I would consider bettering my profession as well as gaining much more experience in my field of endeavor, for instance, by pursuing for further studies, seeking for advanced training work trainings like process improvement, and finding myself an executive sponsor. Enhancing my profession through further studies would receive the first priority. For this to be a success, I would make sure that I acquire better certifications in my field and grow into a more refined person. Seeking for further studies might seem harsh and time-consuming, but even through tight schedules, I would prefer correspondence studies in pursuit of the same (Ayas, 2015).

Alternatively, working extra hard and smarter could expose me to chances of promotion and new experience in my chosen field. In this case, I plan to seek for assistance from good process improvement professionals. Here, I will gain more insights and prerequisites of commendable leadership skills first hand. Also, my mind will only be fed nothing else but positivity for growth. In other words, to become more successful and stable in the industry, I will have to dissociate myself with bad influence or poor habits like, for example, keeping close friends who only demotivate or visualizing myself as a lesser person to achieve a given goal/project.

Since I have been flexible ever since childhood, remaining the same will not sound problematic to me. A good leader is one is as flexible as much as he can be. For instance, executing system wide issue would need a system-level approach. The ultimate result is fully dependent on the situation at hand, from which a leader within the healthcare fraternity gets to decide whether it is at a corporate level or hospital.

I will also extend charity services out in the society in the effort of making my experience in the health industry count. While out in the community assisting the less fortunate, I would call for and incorporate help from well-wishers to promote my program. This will expose me to much better opportunities that might grow bigger into saving many more individuals if the same. Also, my reputation will be at its best, and even though I would not be after recognition, my work in society would be felt and well appreciated by those I attend to, which is just enough to motivate me to keep going.

Some of the professional organizations that I would prefer to join include the American Association of Healthcare Administration Management (AAHAM). By joining this organization, I will be making a decision to broaden my of understanding the healthcare industry much. This is due to the fact that AAHAM, as stated in their aim, is to help in providing education, certification, networking, and advocacy, most specifically for persons who are in the management of healthcare expertise.

My second option would be the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). This organization’s capable of connecting healthcare professionals nationwide. Registering with it will enlarge my network and provide with a platform to learn more from meeting new experts and new challenges as well. My last option would therefore be American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). From here, I will get an opportunity to mentor a few individuals in the process of acquiring much knowledge as well. This is because the organization offers equal opportunities to both new entrants as well as the veterans in the industry.
